Looking for nice dinner after a long day in Universal’s theme park? Consider VIVO Italian Kitchen, located in CityWalk.
The Atmosphere
From the second you walk in, you’ll note the upscale environment of VIVO Italian Kitchen. It seems like somewhere you’d dress up for, but everyone was wearing theme park attire. The open kitchen in the back dining room allows you to watch VIVO chefs as they prepare dishes.
The Menu
The Food
The VIVO Italian Kitchen menu offers traditional dishes featuring everything from chicken to steak and seafood.
All tables also receive freshly baked, hard-crusted Italian bread with olive oil.
While we didn’t order it, according to our server, one of the most popular dishes at VIVO Italian Kitchen is squid ink pasta. We did see several plates of the black pasta being prepared while we were eating.
Who can pass on dessert? Our favorite was the giant cannoli, which easily serves four people.
All in, the food at VIVO Italian Restaurant was good. The service could have been faster and more personable, but we’d go back.
